The University of Colorado will not honor an activist group’s request that the school pull investments from Israel

The Board of Regents approved a measure to reaffirm its confidence and support of the CU treasurer’s office and the professionals who make investment decisions. The resolution, sponsored by Regent Jim Geddes, R-Sedalia, emerged after months of lobbying from a CU graduate who started a grassroots movement asking CU to examine its investments and endowments and divest from companies that he says support “immoral occupation and apartheid” in Palestine.
